Services Overview
Services Offered
We work with supported individuals and their caregivers to determine service packages that are best suited for the goal/goals identified and the needs of the person supported. If the service package does not meet your needs reach out and we will schedule a consultation to determine what supports are best the supported individual. We may require additional information to make a clinical decision on what services can be provided. Additional information may include additional observations in the natural environment, assessments pertaining to the areas of need.
Who is Eligible for our services?
ABA is applicable to all individuals with or without a diagnosis.
Core Clinical Services:
Services delivered by Brightside ABA Services are overseen by a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst who is on the OAP Provider List. To learn more about core clinical services: https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontario-autism-program-core-clinical-services.
What can you expect?
All individual services begin with an interview which will determine needs and strengths for the individual. Services may include assessments to determine skill building goals or behaviour reduction (Functional Assessment Interview) goals. ABA Consultant’s complete the necessary assessments with clinical oversight from the Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Some of the goals that may be identified during this process may include:
- Managing Challenging Behaviour
- Social Skills
- Daily Living
- Communication
Following information gathering, an ABA Consultant will prepare an individualized Behaviour Support Plan and provide support to implement the strategies with the Behaviour Support Plan through mediator training.
At the completion of your intervention a Progress Summary is reviewed outlining the successful strategies and individual progress.
Services are provided in in-person and virtual formats.
